| Description | Filter "plot global variables over time" should allow using the Time array for the X axis. At least for exodus datasets, we have been guaranteed that there is a one to one relationship between the array entries of global variables and time. Assuming that this is true of all file formats, Time should be the default on the X axis. Very nice to have for 3.6.2, but we can let this slip to 3.8. | ||||||||

This is a bit confusing because the filter has a selection box that let's you pick the x-axis variable and it even says "Time", but the plot still just uses the index. The Exodus API to get the values would be ex_get_all_times(). |

Something's fishy. On my mac, I don't even get any plots for global variables (or even plot selection over time). If that's indeed the case, this has to be fixed for 3.6.2 and as soon as possible. |
