[vtkusers] Help: problems building Vtk on msVista

Hi --

I'm a new user, trying to understand the Visualization Toolkit.  

I purchased a copy of the latest edition of the book and downloaded the software from the web.  However, I need to be able to play around with code to better understand your classes, etc .  

I recently purchased a new laptop which runs Microsoft Vista.  I was successfully able to globally build VTK there (using Visual Studio 9 (I have not successfully built a separate project which accesses the shared libraries yet due to problems getting cmake to work in a local environment)).
