<P>I'm trying to use vtk to do volume rendering. I am using java to build GUI and the volumetric data are stored in series of 2D images. </P>
<P>1. should I use vtkVolume16Reader or other readers?</P>
<P>2. as using vtkVolume16Reader, the Dimensions of the data are required. if I set the dimensions to arbitrary values, the data couldn't be loaded or the rendered image didn't make any sense. My question is : is there anyway I can programmatically determine the dimensions?<BR></P>
