It seems I didn't read the bit that says "Once you hit 'Configure', make<br>
sure to turn on: * BUILD_SHARED_LIBS". As far as I understand it, this<br>
causes CMake to produce a solution that generates dlls and stub lib files<br>
rather than full static link libraries. I have not had to do this<br>
previously.<br>

With this setting, VTK now builds and works successfully in our application.<br>

I would prefer to be able to use static link libraries if possible though as<br>
this makes deployment a bit easier (and might be fractionally faster than<br>
dll calls, but I doubt this makes much difference in the scheme of things).<br>
Is there still a way to do this?<br>
