 I placed this in Project Sandia, since I would have written this bug up if you hadn't. Thanks for doing so! I also increased the priority.

Test with can.exo. In the Color Map Editor, I tried clicking update, and that didn't work.

 Without - I was primarily upping the odds that the patch gets applied for the next release. Thanks for the patch! This is critical functionality to me/us.

    Rename some function calls which were performed on the
    non-over-time version.

    The functionnality was broken in PV - since July 2013 I guess.
