Summary | 0015762: Trace fails setting variables on Mac
Description | This bug appears to be Mac/ OS X only. * Mac OS X, 4.4.0, local server. * Start trace. Fully Trace Suplemental Proxies on. OK. * Sources/ Wavelet. Apply. * Change Outline to Surface, Change Solid Color to RTData. * Color Editor. Preset. Rainbow Desaturated. * Stop trace. Save as Macro (or as just Python file). * Edit/ Reset Session. * Run the macro. <<Bug>> - Wavelet won't even appear! Change visibility to off, then back on in the pipeline browser. <<Bug>> - At this point, the wavelet appears solid color. Not painted by variable. >> This needs to be fixed for 5.0. >> If possible, I need a fix - in python - that the user can cut and paste into his scripts.

Alan, I cannot reproduce this with the latest release revision v5.0.0-39-g620a6d1 even on a Mac. I am attaching the Python trace that was generated in my case. Playing it back shows exactly what I traced out and the image I get after playing back the trace. Can you attach the Python file you are getting? |

Utkarsh is correct - this was fixed in 5.0. I tested on 5.0.0, it works fine. Tested on Mac, Kitware 5.0.0 .dmg, local server. |
