Summary0016141: Disable click-to-select in render view
DescriptionIn Render View, we have support click-to-select a data source for a while. However no one seems to use it and it only causes confusion with people thinking why it suddenly takes a while when one clicks. Also, it changes the active source without the user realizing it -- another source of confusion.

We should just disable it.

 I like that better. As you say, it is less confusing. Tested Linux, remote server, master.
