| Summary | 0012727: Bad block sizes for Cielo | ||||||||
| Description | Cielo, and probably other supercomputers, are not finding the correct block size for reads for CTH and Exodus reads. ParaView is trying to read in 8192 byte chunks. This is approximately 10% as fast as reads of 16384 or 4094 byte reads. Please either come up with a better way of setting this read size, or alternatively, allow it to be overridden by an environment variable or file (such as .paraview.version). Thanks! | ||||||||

This issue has been "hidden" by compiling in magic libraries for I/O. Thus, priority is being lowered. |
