| Summary | 0002052: serial to parallel XML converter | ||||||||
| Description | As per a conversation with Berk... http://public.kitware.com/pipermail/vtkusers/2005-July/080701.html [^] Given a list of serial XML files, can you add support to use VTK to automagically create the head parallel file? Example: -Given 3 vtkUnstructuredGrid's stored as XML/vtu files {myGrid01.vtu, myGrid02.vtu, myGrid03.vtu} -Write the head parallel file, myGrid.pvtu, that defines where the serial files are. Preferbly with support for setting one or multiple filenames. This would help convert one very large dataset into the parallel XML format to later be visualized on Paraview. | ||||||||

I am assuming it is a bit too late to do this now. Should this be closed? |
