| Summary | 0003527: vtkTkRenderWidget GetRenderWindow method returns a window that has lost stereo capability on Linux |
| Description | I'm trying to get vtk to use CrystalEyes stereo with a vtkTkRenderWidget, but the render window returned by the GetRenderWindow is not stereo capapble, so the following error message is generated:
vtkXOpenGLRenderWindow (0x8351740): Adjusting stereo mode on a window that does not support stereo type CrystalEyes is not possible.
This is despite the fact that the original renderWindow that was passed to vtkTkRenderWidget did have stereo capabilities.
This manifests itself under Suse linux 9.3 and 10.1 (tk/tcl 8.4.12-14) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS release 3 (tcl/tk 8.3.5-92.4) but not on Windows or Mac OSX |
