0007137: vtk java hangs on Examples/Tutorial/Cone5 on Mac OS X 10.5.3 / Cocoa / Carbon

Description

Using the VTK Java bindings with VTK CVS head, Mac OS X 10.5.3, Carbon or Cocoa builds, and Cone5.java from the Examples/Tutorials produces a non-interactive window showing the underside of the cone and which eats up 150%+ of a CPU on a dual CPU machine.

Interestingly, the TestVTKCanvas.java example works fine interactively.
