| Summary | 0008181: vtkImageReslice to support vector data | ||||||||
| Description | Currently vtkImageReslice does not support transformations of vector data. I feel that vtkImageReslice should support the possibility to support convariant and contravariant vectors, as well as mathematically unrelated vectors. | ||||||||
| Additional Information | Currently vtkImageReslice returns a vtkImageData structure with only the scalar data. Vector data is simply discarded. | ||||||||

This feature request is a good idea, but I don't think it would be widely used. Currently, VTK imaging filters only process scalar data (or vector data masquerading as multi-component scalar data). |
