| Summary | 0009233: coincident toplogy with surface and lines still has problems |
| Description | The correct display of surface-streamlines, or contour lines on a surface in PV3.6.1 has lost some quality as compared to version PV3.4.0
the example attached shows a big error in the display of the isocontour lines. (See *png file) The smallest isocontour line in the middle of the intersection between the airfoil and the vertical plane looks like a deformed circle. We see both the upper part and the lower part of the circle. This is a very large error in this case.
The state file included can be read both with PV3.6.1 and PV3.4.0. PV3.4.0 shows a perfectly clean rendering. That functionality has been lost in the current version.
P.S. Please disregard the discontinuities of the isocontour lines. This is a bug in our own code, totally independent of the coincident display problem. |
